Thus, talking him down. If you have no other options then Gruden could name his price and stick by it. I think him coming down involves a few variables, some of which may include flexing his pay to get his type of staff, negotiations about ownership in certain franchises, negotiations about promotions, etc...I think there is more to the table than just HC salary.

I just received a text message saying Charlie Strong will be announced as head coach today at 3 PM. I'm calling BS, because my better source has been Gruden all along and mainly matched up with the OG's in this thread.

If the message is correct, we will have to make sure and avoid scheduling powerhouse teams such as UConn in the future.
