I certainly dont blame him for that!!

I met Tee at Chikfila in Columbus, Ga while he was at Ky. Him and Randy Sanders were together on a recruiting visit. I expressed how great it'd be to see him back at TN and he said, "Me too man. Maybe one day."... We talked about the NC game until Randy ran out of the play center and demanded his free ice cream cone.

I wonder if there is something breaking or about to break, or it's just Chattanooga radio trying to hype their show:

Just got the call I've been waiting on for 6 days.......there no longer is a doubt in my mind who the Vols will intro as their new head football coach.....NO DOUBT..monday at 4 sport talk 102.3 fm

Again, I repeat...NO DOUBT

I guess we all can listen tomorrow live 102.3 The Talk Monster! WGOW-FM

I think what Rucker says is irrelevant. He's in Knoxville to sell subscriptions to his site. He was initially a big doubter of Gruden... However, it dawned on him that because of support for THAT coach that he would sell a lot more credit card commitments if he wrote, and corroborated the Gruden rumors. He may know what he's talking about but realize that his ultimate goal is to get those credit card numbers on file.

...and don't get me wrong, I think Rucker is one of the few media people in Knoxville with a brain--but he is, as they say, what he is.

My 7 year old son as we're walking by Gus's on Saturday on our way to G-5 to tailgate he says out loud: "I'm glad they fired that coach...he had no idea what he was doing with those players..."

Looks like kids know better about what's best for Tennessee football than a lot of adults...

when I read the press release of Dooley being fired, I read it aloud. My 6 yr old son is a diehard fan. I told him that we would have a new coach soon. He said, "so we won't stink anymore", and I said hopefully not. Then he danced around and spiked the ball he was holding.

Kid asked a few weeks ago if we could move to another state. When I asked why, he said because the Titans and Tennessee both stink and asked if we could move to "Noder dam"

He surely does not want to get hit and willing to make a bad throw at a bad time to keep from getting hit. I want a QB that is willing to stand in there to make the right throw knowing they are about to get nailed.
I want him gone as well. Ready for a fresh start.

I just soon him and his crybaby attitude left my self too we will see what Peterman can do or another high ranked recruit out of HS

I would love to have Hunter and Patterson come back, but I admit it is unlikely for one to stay, much less likely both stay. With Bray, hate his attitude, like the big arm, can go either way. I am sure that Grud...er the next HC will have plans at QB. My biggest concern is with the OL. I have heard that there is a possibility of an exodus, and in my opinion the OL could be the strength next year.

Heard a few OL are staying if Pittman stays.

Gonna be interesting to see what Ainge does in the morning...will he still be all in for Gruden or will he do the smokescreen again??

FWIW I despise Petrino and would prefer to not see him on a weekly basis. So I'm pulling for you. But this "search committee" Auburn has put together is a charade. It's been Petrino for a while.

Hey if thats true I will definitely say you were dead on and would never believe a thing he says again. AU can go a much safer and better route just wouldnt make sense not to mention his Dad basically begging UK to hire him.
