I will probably get flamed for saying this, but I kind of hope Bray does leave, but I would love for JH and CP to be back (I know, not likely). Bray will likely break some more of Peyton's records if he stays, but I don't like the fact the he seems scared in the backfield. He surely does not want to get hit and willing to make a bad throw at a bad time to keep from getting hit. I want a QB that is willing to stand in there to make the right throw knowing they are about to get nailed.

I want him gone as well. Ready for a fresh start.

I wonder if there is something breaking or about to break, or it's just Chattanooga radio trying to hype their show:

Just got the call I've been waiting on for 6 days.......there no longer is a doubt in my mind who the Vols will intro as their new head football coach.....NO DOUBT..monday at 4 sport talk 102.3 fm

Again, I repeat...NO DOUBT

Falls in line with Vol_Reporter posted on the Cliff Notes...

Well if Mr. College Football says it! Did Timmy B confirm?

If Petrino isn't the head coach by this time next week, I'll come find you (on here) to personally apologize for my arrogance. How's that?

Agreed and if he is I will do the same. Barnhart said Slive and all AD's basically have a gentlemens agreement not to hire him. AU is in enough hot water and pissing off Slive wouldnt be the best way to go right now. He said 100% guaranteed he would not be at AU, UK or UT. Guess we will see.

I love Fridays! :)

I'm 50-50 with this. If he came back, we wouldn't have to worry about the qb position. He's a proven quantity. And, with the right coach, he could mature mentally into a great qb. But, it's asking alot to have a guy do a 180 with his attitued.

Alright guys, If its Gruden, I'm going to pull an Oprah, YOU GET A iMAC, YOU GET A CHERRY OAK DESK, YOU GET SKY BOX TICKETS!

Lowe and Bryce on "The Nation" are again poo pooing the Gruden talk.

Thing is, they say they expect UT to hire someone in the next two weeks. And when pressed to offer who they think the coach will be, they sound pretty clueless.

So we're going to find, interview, and hire a coach within the next week or so, but they don't have a solid opinion on who it will be.

OK.

These tools of UTAD know nothing.

You have a very smart 2 year old.
My 7 year old son as we're walking by Gus's on Saturday on our way to G-5 to tailgate he says out loud: "I'm glad they fired that coach...he had no idea what he was doing with those players..."

Looks like kids know better about what's best for Tennessee football than a lot of adults...
