I think it's probably about time to create the "Who's plan B" thread. My confidence and hopes in all things Gruden are close to be running on fumes despite my 100% belief that he is the right man for the job. Sigh...

He knowingly spread misinformation in here on Friday night with the airport picture. I figured that would be the last straw...and, he's still here.

I've been here from day one of these threads and I'm still very doubtful.. Just not ruling it out completely yet like many have..If this place is the only place u get any info from, then I can definitely see how u could be confident.

Pretty much where I have to get my info cause I'm no insider nor to I know an insider. I'm sure you remember my days in the FF AC, I was a Dooley guy and never left the FF. After the MSU debacle, I defected here, and followed Boro, Jay, DTO, Carter, OV. Lex and I'm sure I'm forgetting one but those are the guys I believe. Their info has been about as spot on as you can expect. There's plenty on here that are saying its Gruden and their info is FOS. You can tell the OGs from the piggy backers. But when I refer to FF guys that hijack this thread, I'm not including you AC. You've always been a solid poster and whether you agree or disagree with the Gruden rumors, you don't dis the ones that's not on your side of the fence.

I think Lex nailed it as close as one can tell it on here without naming names. Dooley and Gruden are friends, I still feel Jon did not want to be announced days after Dooley was terminated out of respect for their friendships.

I agree. Whether you liked Dooley or not, that would be quite a smack in the face to know that someone who was considered a friend took his place. That would look really bad for Gruden publicly because it makes him look like he pushed Dooley out the door, even though that was not the case. Read between the lines people... There is more to this than just signing on the dotted line and being announced as the next head coach of The Tennessee Vols....Sometimes it is not that simple.

Everyone wants absolutes and there are few to have unless you are one of the handful involved in brokering the deal. I am still confident it will get finalized.

I am also confident Babyavi will latch onto any rumor as fact obviously. What has he said is "not" true? You have to be able to see the forest in spite of the trees and decipher what is believable or not. I think the posts after the Troy game (I think) about overhearing Peyton and others conversations from their box and the ability to believe almost any rumor and fight like hell to not admit it when proven false. Re: Webb and airport.

That is my reasoning behind him so much more so then the other points. When was the last time we had a HC that loved UT? We won a NC.

I think Dooley loved it here, he just couldn't coach..

Our confidence and hopes in a Gruden hire are not running on fumes. I believe there are quite a few other threads that discuss plan b, c, and d (even golden....smh).

Yeah I respect everybody's opinion in here... It's just hard to believe stuff from here when all I hear outside of here is the opposite... I'm just ready to get this thing over with honestly.
