No, he said if we lost to vandy, he was out

On Sunday morning after the Mizzou loss, Hubbs said "Hart will make a decision after the season", he did say that he didn't think Dooley would be retained. If he in fact said what you claim, it was after that Sunday.

another thing dooleys fate was sealed along time ago, the timing was just a matter of outcome. The ONLY reason Dooley was the coach for the Vandy game is because it was in Nashville. Had it have been a home game he would have been canned after Mizzu.

My friend who is still a student but interns in the athletic dept and puts in a lot of hours there told me that he's heard that there is a contract signed but nobody there has any idea who has signed the contract

Could only be Gruden with other candidates still coaching, but the AD isnt leaking anything, soo.....

In the cliff note thread, I saw where Ascew said ,"the storm is coming" I must have missed it. Anybody know what that means?

So which insider do you think bats over 500?

A true insider may be the source itself. Who do you believe: Hart, AD staffer, OG, radio personality, writer or forum poster?

The source is the key. Some have credit sources which SHOULD remain faceless.

Take all at face value.

Not true. If he had beaten Vandy he would be coaching this week. He was going to be coaching until a bowl wasnt in play anymore.

Come on Tennessee!! Get over u'r ego about Control and hire Gruden. Im now hearing It's all about giving him total control. What R U doing AD Hart? If it doesn't go against NCAA rules u gotta make it happen. We can't mess this up.

Why wouldn't you give a coach total control of football operations? I'm not even sure what that means? Are we fighting over who gets to decide what kind of damn butter goes on the popcorn?! Give them man what he wants and sit back and count the #%$&ing money.

Haha! I have seen that throughout the Gruden boards. This place is more addictive than crack!

You have two posts. You must have missed the latest memo for new posters. You are required to come and say either "He's not coming" or "I'm in a car with him right now headed to K'ville".

it appears he likes him sum taters

Don't know where your getting your info and don't care but it seems we have had different people tell us the same thing. And one thing I know for sure is the person telling me this does know whats going on. They even went as far as to tell me to take it to the boards if you want just don't tell anyone where you heard it. His reasoning was people will believe what they choose to believe. I am just another guy on a message board and you guys have no reason what so ever to put any stock in what I say. Which I could care less about. I am just trying to pass along what I believe to be true.
RH?

What I remember is people saying that the timeline meant that Hart would rather keep Dooley till after UK. Most on here said a disaster against Vandy would make it sooner. Dooley still could have coached against UK if he had wanted. Doesn't that make anyone curious as to why the AD wasn't that anxious to start the hunt?....unless maybe we already had our guy?

It has been well publicized DH did not want to do anything as long as the team had a chance at a bowl game, which makes perfect sense IMO. Once we were assured of a losing season, I think DH went ahead and announced, mainly to remove all the DD talk (distraction) from the team, so the players could play their last game w/o reading / hearing about DD status every direction they turned. l don't think DH's announcement had squat to do with Gruden or any other coach, I think it was done to end the talk / distraction associated with DD period.

Not being a butt, but the big boosters boats are way more than $150,000. Multiply that by 5 or 10 and maybe. 150k boats docs, lawyers, and commercial real estate guys have out there by themselves or with their frends. You may be right or may be a troll with a few posts, not saying either, but none of the big shots have boats that small unless that is their traveling or small boat etc. Been out there too many times

Had a friend with a boat in the 150k range and I thought it was a nice boat but it was like the SS Minnow compared to most of the boats up there. There is serious money on the river in Knoxville on game day.
