If you do then what is really the difference? I see no more likely Monday than Friday.

It really blows my mind with the amount of vitriol spewed by the NegaGrudes on here. Others have stated this but it is worth stating again: This is a "Rumors and Speculation" thread. If you took away the speculation by the OGs, we wouldn't be in Gruden X. This would have fizzled in Gruden I.

If you don't like it, there are plenty of other VN threads to post in. Why come over here just to thump your chests?

Now, for Gruden...it could be similar to Myers announcement which was forced because of the media. He was working for ESPN as well, and someone broke the news that he was indeed going to be the next coach for Ohio St.. Remember, he "told ESPN he wouldn't be able to work" and then he was introduced that night or crazy like that. and that was

Nov. 28th.

My prediction? I think Jon Gruden wants this as hush, hush as possible until the REDSKINS game in NY. That's when he will be able to finalize some things over with R. Morris. That day is Dec. 3rd.

I think on Dec.10th, Gruden tells ESPN he can't come in and Dilfer "subs" for him.

DEC. 12th is what I predict.

JAN 19th is when Gruden is introduced to the TN fans.

There were insiders in this very forum that said he would be retained til after uk no matter what.. I remember because hubbs said the opposite, and I told them hubbs was probably right.

Okay, a bit off topic, but state playoff games are on tonight and Chad Morris' name has been thrown around as an OC candidate. With the success of guys like Morris, Malzahn, and Freeze, I really want to see G. Quarles get a shot at OC somewhere. I know it likely won't be for a new coach, but a proven guy that needs a new OC should give him a shot.

I'm iffy on the 30th, it just seems too soon. The only thing I see wrong with Monday is there hasn't been a announcment from ESPN about Grudens replacement. If they announced it, I would believe that it would be Monday.

No one in the media really knows anything. Why would someone "deep" inside tell a media member what is being said? They are telling the media what they want them to say

Will West is speaking the truth right now. If Hart doesn't hire Gruden because of his unwillingness to give up some power, Hart needs to be run out of town!!
