We must have heard two different interviews. The context of the conversation was about Arky. I even posted about how Wychek and the other guy had Mort teed up to talk about it and they cut him off.

If Dungy was an option, there would be plenty of news about his desire to return to coaching, etc. There would be absolutely no need for any of the "cloak & dagger" type stuff that is going on at this time.

I agree with you completely on this. I do not see Dungy coaching anywhere again--and definitley not right now.

What people fail to understand is the difference between rumor and fact.. It's not been publicly announced that Gruden turned them down.

This is how I look at it. I work in a particular field where I am privy to info only 3 others would be privy too. We have to keep info tight to the chest because of procedures that must be adhered to. However, someone always seems to get about a 1/10 of the info I know and they run with it. By the time the info gets from one to another and everybody adds little bit here and there, its nothing close to the truth

The insiders may tell exactly what they hear, but what they are telling could be 3rd or 4th hand info. Rarely is it first hand

Just be cautious of any info that is either negative or overly positive

I hope like hell its Gruden. If not, someone just as good

But we must not berate those that stick out their necks to give us crumbs of info. It may not be 100% accurate but it is not all their fault if its not

NO, none have changed their tune. Hyams says something negative about Gruden and then the vultures come out to play. Just like two or three weeks ago when it was reported by the local media Gruden was out..then they backtracked and now doubling back and on and on...only consistent thing has been the five and some national media that say Gruden is in play.

Same interview. It was in the context of Arkansas but after saying Arkansas hadnt offered he went a step farther and said nobody had offered.

I heard this interview as well Tim. He said zero chance he goes to Ark.. I came on here and posted that was strange because his son played for them.
