I hate to act like a debbie downer, but I agree with the control issues of Gruden. I think this thing could implode in our face if he doesn't get what he wants once he is here. Not that I don't want him to come, but he is going to ask for a lot. There def has been some progress with the AD and Chancellor, but not sure it's ready for a very Type-A guy like Gruden.

Hopefully his requests are somewhat reasonable and can be negotiated effectively. But others say deal already done?

Why does babyvol feel uncomfortable with naming the requests?

At some point, whether this goes through our not, we will find out what they are, but the way he words it, sounds like very ethically sensitive stuff.

Not really, it looks like the fake UT is running the same Sunseri defense that we run. Not to tackle the runner until he makes 10 yards.

Another thing, I was all for patience, but after watching this Texas game, I'm beginning to think that Brown will be forced out, and if Hart f--ks around, we could see ourselves competing with Texas for his services, and that's one school we don't want to go head to head with for any candidate, especially one as coveted as Gruden.

He never said what he was asking for. Isn't this mainly about assistants? He knows what he wants to pay them and they are negotiating. Sounds like standard to me.

I would venture any coach worth a damn is type A. Our culture needs to change regardless if it's Gruden or not.
