Wow... I didn't think he was that serious about leaving....


I do have another question.. It is about the 18 mill that was freed up.....

How are we going to pay JG staff on 6 mill a year?

Will it be light on the front end and then be heavy on the back end when the new TV contract goes into effect in 3 years?

They are paying the current staff over 5 mill now. If you add 6 mill to that......

Not listening, reading TOS. Also, Hubbs is really making it seem that Stoops is the first choice.

I could live with Stoops. I'm a big Gruden fan, but I'm not sold on the fact that he would be successful at the college level. Our next hire must be a winner, or we will be in deep kimchi.

I'm not for certain that Gruden is Hart's first choice or the first choice of some others that count. But that's just based on some stuff floating around out there. I don't know that to be true.

Today has been like yesterday and the day before. You get an email from someone and he has people telling him it's Gruden. Then you get an email saying Gruden is a non-factor. We are working to try and sort through it all.

He's probably just trying to get the fans to show a little appreciation. For a guy who wins 9-10 games a year, he is getting a lot of flack lately.

I agree with that for sure..I don't quite understand that... I know they want him to win the big one, but he seems to keep them in pretty good shape most years...

I must say, those candidates are a far cry from what we were dealing with last time. Fisher would not be my first choice, but when you compare him to Dooley he looks like the second coming of Bear Bryant.

Stoops is my first choice just because he has been in the recruiting world. Not sure how Gruden will handle it.
Gruden would be great in the first years just on his name but as years roll by would he like it. I like to stay with the proven. Gruden is still a grand slam if he's next coach.

I am not a violent type of fellow, but I think I would have had to come down out of the stands if a coach treated me son the way the basketball coach that kid... I think it was Moore head state......... I have played enough sports to know that a coach has to get after players sometimes, but I personally think that was a little excessive...
