Although if the rumors are to be believed, the evaluations are already happening. I wonder if all of the recruits have been told something like this.

Yeah like Lane told Tahj Boyd we will honor your scholarship but you will never play. That makes the guys who think they will actually play look elsewhere. The ones who come just to get a scholly and fill a backup roll anyways stay committed in most cases.

It's Black Friday. No day has ever been black to me. I try to live each one as best I can to the fullest. But today it is going to feel like a Black Friday in Knoxville if you were counting on Jon Gruden being a done deal to Tennessee. Because, as I've been telling you for weeks, I'll believe it when I see it. Even more than that, I believe Gruden is way further away from being Tennessee's coach than he was a couple of weeks ago. And quite frankly, sources tell me the trepidation is more on Tennessee's end than it is on Gruden's.


I tried to warn you on Wednesday and I was shot at on the air and in my e-mail box but Gruden to UT is not a done deal and it's not even close to being done. In fact, Gruden to Tennessee seems remote at this point in time.
