For the Early Enrolees, definitely and a little for the 2013 class. I wouldn't be concerned at all with the 2014 and beyond classes. If it is Gruden, this isn't like most coaching seaches. Most coaches have already established a orelationship with the recruits already. Nick Saban had the number 10 class his first recruiting class at Alabama and a lot of those were Shula's recruits. Dooley has done terrible in recruiting this year so it will be harder to reach even top 10. We desperately need a top 5 class now.
A lot will depend on the assistant coaches brought in. Many will have relationships already built in. Also, the staff will build off of the relationships this staff built, or tried to.

I think recruiting will see a huge up lift. My biggest concern is whether CJG has had time to review film and determine which recruits fit his system and he wants here. Also, the one on one interviews with the recruit that other coaches have already had to determine if the personalities fit. JMHO.

No way??? I didn't...maybe a time or two. But I did have friends that had private land in the Sandy River bottom...that was really good at times in high water.

I grew up hunting the Camden Bottoms back in the 70's and 80's. I mostly hunt in the Cache and White River Bottoms now in Arkansas. I work for RNT...yikes!

Haven't duck hunted in years, never hunted camden but west sandy/springville bottom areas pretty hot!

I don't think the media understands how bad he wants to coach.

Exactly! They are taking a non-passionate analysis of him. "Why would he want to give up the comforts of the booth to coach". "Give it up to go to Tennessee?" They are underestimating his passion for coaching and his love for the University of Tennessee.

Grude evening everyone!

Checked in earlier but I had just enjoyed a glass of wine and had a buzz going..

But it's worn off.

Had an interesting discussion about the King..my brother-in-law(who works at UT) was asked who he thinks the next coach is gonna be..and he said GRUDEN!!

Grudenville...

"Got a call from a buddy earlier this afternoon. He has been on the sidelines, no speculation, no guesses, no rumors...he is a very cautious engineer type (doesn't post on here, surprise?)...this is from inside Ath. Dept. to his buddy to him...

Gruden announcement Saturday, $50M over 8 years...11 prospects targeted that JG will personally visit immediately. Ergen was the leader in making it happen. Tee will be on the staff.

He said he would never ever pass it along unless he thought it was 100% rock solid.

TIFWIW...

Get the GrudenShine ready...the Pumps are PRIMED!"

What was the timestamp of the posting?

What's going on , Jay? Good news seems to be everywhere. Hope you and the family have a nice Thanksgiving tomorrow. Same for everyone else. Glad to be off for a few days.

Sorrow shared is sorrow halved, but
Joy shared is joy doubled.

Happy Thanksgiving to you.

I just want to remind everyone to not get fed into this. I have to stop myself from getting excited. Nothing is done. So nothing is final. For your own sakes, calm down a little.

You don't need to be in the know to know that.

I see what STL is saying. I think we land Mario Pender last year if he wasn't an EE.

Maybe I used the "in the know" phrase incorrectly, but all I meant was that people that pay for more attention to recruits and the recruiting forum than I do are certain that we get a lot of the guys on the fence. Even a few of the EEs.
