It's been said if gruden takes another job before the 30th he loses his last check with the bucks. Does that change your opinion?

No because a new contract would be in place and he would get maybe even more money in place of that. Coaches lose their checks all the time to become new coaches at a school. Gruden wants to coach, do you believe he is that worried about money?

Isn't it interesting when so many people have sources or people in the know within the AD? lol...not saying anyone is lying or making things up but the person I usually get all of my basketball info from works in the AD as well. I asked him about all the Gruden talk I've been hearing around here and on the net and he said that's all it is...talk. Again, not saying any of these reports we've heard are wrong but things just seem to be very quiet on this. I love it and honestly would rather not hear anything and wait until press conference time to hear BUT when you got threads like this, you almost HAVE to check them just to see what is being said! :D

Stop playing with your balls all day every day and pay attention.

I was going to stop responding to you... but who appointed you the Lord and guardian of Vol fans and what we should believe and what we should not.

I have been here sense Gruden I examining the facts, checking post and making decisions. I do not need you or any other last minute poster in here telling me what I have a right to believe an or learn on my own.

Thank you for your concern, but NO THANKS... I am old enough to make up my own mind. If you want to know how old... I have been a Vol fan from the time "The swamp rat" was throwing corner routes to Johnny Mills so back off

:eek:lol: exactly like Grudenville

where is this stated. he was fired in january of 2009 with 3 years left on his contract. 2009 season, 2010 season, 2011 season. why would anyone agree to an extra year of the terms of the contract if they were fired? maybe its written in the contract that if contract is honored upon termination payout will be an extra 12 months from date fired? just trying to figure this out.

Depends on what that check is worth he is owed. 10k and I agree with you. A years worth of buyout money I strongly disagree.

Soo...you're tired of people talking about their inside sources..then you talk about your inside source.
Makes sense.

Lol, Brent Hubbs just said that nothing his holding Gruden back. He could get out tomorrow and become the coach if he wanted.

Lets look at the similarities. Meyer called one game a week for ESPN, Gruden calls one game a week for ESPN. Yet Meyer got out when he wanted, but Gruden can't?

Tampa Bay is not restricting Gruden from becoming the coach tomorrow either.

Lol. Someone just can't seem to understand that Hubbs knows just as much as Hart wants him to know.

Exactly. It's the right time for us. Not for him. He still has some business to take care of.

Is that one check really that important to a guy who is supposively going to become the highest paid coach in the SEC? Not to mention, how much money he has raked in from special appearances and ESPN.

It wasn't a piblished report so it wasn't confirmed but there were multiple posters that said they had heard that.
