Is all the progress that was made yesterday gone today? Yesterday we had 18 mil with gru's name on it. we had reputable(?) media members saying it was a done deal. We had an announcement date for god's sake.

Agreed. A good balance of informed people and actual positivity has invaded this thread. It's weird on Volnation to have that.

I can't wait for the announcement, but will miss this place when it's gone.

We have been told Hart plans on seeking permission from UCLA on the 25th to contact Mora. He also has interest in Strong. He wants a coach in place by mid december if at all possible. Like ive said, Hart is very smart and cagey, maybe back up plans in case something falls through if indeed a deal is in place with Gruden.

This thread caused me to join VN. I have lurked here for years but I just had to become part of the excitement of the possibility of a Gruden hire.

Here's my HOPE: Maybe Hart knows the Gruden stuff is getting out so he's leaking fake interest in other coaches.

I think that's a longshot, though.
