If something has been 100% done...it's going to be almost impossible to keep it quiet till the 17th Dec. I think Dooley screwed up the timeline...they figured he could win out or get them to bowl game.

When Dr. B. puts something out about UT it usually has the ring of strong credibility to it. He is right almost always when it comes to UT and predicting moves such as this.

I have been hearing a lot of people saying that Gruden being hired within two weeks of Dooley being fired it "too soon." I think this is bogus, a lot of people forget that AD's without prior knowledge of their coach leaving usually only take 5-7 days to find a replacement. Meaning why is Nov. 30th too early if it is 12 days after Dooley has been fired. I know negotiations have been happening for awhile, but why would it be too unbelievable of a story if Hart just said "we have finished these negotiations in the last 12 days?"

Thanks. That is what I thought.

It isn't even that he is putting it out there, but rather that he is already talking smack about it. I know he is more entertainer than journalist, but if he were wrong, he would get verbally pummeled for years.

Hmmm couple of months? There is a LWSVOL that posts in another forum that was asked on Oct. 26th-

"Before donors made it clear that they wanted a big name or the $$ would stop flowing so freely in recent days, Kirby Smart was 100% going to be the next coach at Tennessee."

And the LWSVOL on that forum responded-

"I agree 100%. if Gruden does not come here though, don't be surprised if things don't go back around to KS in the end.. Not sure anyone else out there worth Gruden money that they would invest in."

I'm not saying this is the same person but seems to contradict some what...

I'm not worrying about what LWS says and I dont think you should either. Most of the info coming out is from boosters who have made this happen. Just step back and look at what Bcarter said... he knows the associate AD and he laughs at him on the thought of Gruden.
