I have my doubts Gruden will achieve the expectations people expect, or certainly not for a few years. If it's him I hope it's a long contract. If he does get hired it may get worse before it gets better in year one, (though I hardly see how that is possible, but maybe stay the same) he'll send kids packing who don't want to perform without hesitation....and God knows we have needed that.... I will say if it is him....some people that you expect to drop out for draft, might reconsider.

I will not be a fan boy for him, but among our possibilities we'd be lucky for this to happen...and it seems to be happening.

I hope fans will be realistic. We still have a long way to go talent wise to compete for four quarters.

Call me naive or whatever, but I think Gruden is going to really like the college game. He seems to be having so much more fun since he became a television analyst. He's been studying the college game with college coaches, as reported, and he has built his tv skills to the point of comedy.

Being in the TV business myself, I just love what he has done...that doesn't come easy and it takes a very bright guy to create a character like he has.

I believe this is gonna be AWESOME!!!!

I think he'd do fine in year one. I would expect a solid eight or so win season with the talent he will have. That would be a fine first year by me. I just have to imagine he will be better at motivating players to play hard and believe in themselves.

FWIW...I know DR B on sport talk here in chattanooga is a little out there at times but he swears to high heaven his source called him today and confirmed gruden as well,Considering his record of being right is not stellar to say the least but Its the first time he has try to sell it on the air, or atleast the first i have heard him that fired up for gruden,but if the events of today dont paint a picture of gruden wearing a power T and pistol wipping that f n miget saban next year nothing will.....Heck i'll even brand my cattle with the power T When gruden comes...fired up..i dont post very much but i had to get out the breaking news...Doctor B is a grudenite.......:w00t: before the spelling police starts in on me... it is hard to type on a I phone and put out hay so back off,,,:yes:
