He's the main sec guy at the commercial appeal-I don't recall him really being a news breaker so if its reached him it probly pretty solid.

I realize this is late and old news to the Grudenites, but like a new friend on here said....new confirmation is always good!!

So, I got extremely solid confirmation today from a source that is literally attached (by name) to a very important building on campus. Historical actually. I'll leave source ID at that.

He confirmed to me going back to last Tuesday that the MOU was signed and the 5 big boosters rallied to make it happen...and completely validated Peyton Mannings role as well.

I'm not bringing this in an attempt to gain anything other than adding solid validation to the list of informants on here that we all trust (well, most of us lol). I'm not really one to pressure my sources because I am a business man myself and I don't like people bugging me. I try to treat people the way I want to be treated.

Having said that.....BOOM!!!

Zero chance, doubt there was any truth to that. Bates, Shoop or the lastest being Chaney is retained as OC and saves the university money. Gruden will most likely be calling the plays or at least monitoring it so Chaney wont be making some of those horrific calls were used to. Hope Chaney is let go or even better he takes another job then that way he is gone and saves 645k.

I just don't see Chaney making it through 3 different head coaches.

Out with the old we need a fresh start.
