I love all the Gruden love going on here, but is there any strong evidence supporting him coming to Tennessee. Getting tired of getting my hopes up over what Carl on twitter heard in the bathroom stall at the local 7-11. I want to hear Gruden pulling up to Neyland Stadium in Bigfoot kicking Cheeks in the gut and Stone Cold stunning Hart.

The Gruden cliff's note thread had enough evidence to put my mind at ease, but no his U-Haul truck hasn't arrived just yet.

I think we all dig that, but all you are going to hear until the announcement is speculation.

No different from any other coaching hire.

(I know I am not goat, but I painted with you a couple times last year.)

Has Gruden turned down Ark.???? Driving home earlier listening to Blaine Bishop and Clay Travis, Blaine said Gruden turned down Ark.. Has anyone else heard this officially???

I would be a very, very pleased fan if we could hire Jon Gruden here at Tennessee. That recap thread is quite helpful, and I certainly hope it has some accuracy. Pleased to see some funds being designated back to athletics, I hope it helps. I do want UT and its administration (with help from the big boosters, no doubt) to pay Gruden what he needs to get here with a good staff.

I'm likely okay with the $10 M overall if we can get a good coach and an all-star staff who could aid Gruden in adjusting to the more college-oriented challenges the NFL does not have. Would certainly love a TN feel (Graham, Martin, etc.) to the staff.

I will be frightened and pleased at what will happen to UT-loving websites if we do hire Gruden, hope they have enough bandwidth space for that onslaught. Hiring him would make me VERY excited for the upcoming NSD, considering how many players may want to play for a coach who they know could help them reach the next level.

That said, please get this man hired UT, pretty pretty please.
