um yes if decides Arky> UT then it would be his fault. 99% of the fanbase doesnt follow every detail as we do. if Gruden accepts the Arky job he will be hated in Tennessee. it doesnt matter if its because of money or control. the end result will be the same.

Again I have no idea if the formally offered yesterday or not but if the report is true then gruden isn't done deal here IMO. Agent still negotiating with us

This place is nuckin' futs. I have seriously cut back on my time here. No matter what is said we seem to be on a 60 minute cycle to the ebb and flow. The funny thing is there are about 2 naysayers who know nothing that get the whole thing started.

Source close to the program are ready to report that Patterson is the next HC of the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Sources close to the program say Gruden will be announce at a press conference at 4PM (date in the past)

Sound familiar?
I could go on.................................but.......................

This sounds a lot like how the last TN coaching search went, minus the big names.

Man, I enjoy debating things with you. I am just going to say in response to this that their offer, if true, has absolutely no relationship whatsoever to our dealings with Gruden. Nothing they do means anything at all about what we have done, or will do. It is not an indication of anything at all with regards to Grudens current or future employment. They are completely unrelated.

If you want to discuss something else, I am game, but I am not talking about Arkansas anymore.

Unless you are interested in hearing some jokes.

Seriously, there could be 100 signs pointing to Gruden coming here and you pick the one that doesn't and persistently harp on it. I think you enjoy pissing on everyone's parade too much.

They could hate him, but like I said, if we don't get him, it's because our program was screwed up so badly that we were incapable of landing him.

That's the truth. I have no worries of him going to Arky, but if he did, then it's because Hamilton/Cheek have damaged our finances/program to the point of making us incapable when it comes to landing the big fish. The program was sliding in Fulmer's last years, and they accelerated the downward spiral to the point that we couldn't compete.
