I disagree. If he forfeits 2-3 additional weeks just to finish MNF, that's precious time he can't get back. He and his prospective staff would have a lot of evaluating to do before even hitting the recruiting trail. And even with his name recognition, the last two losses dig a deep, deep hole for him to climb out of. Can't blame those on a brutal schedule.
He's going to have to go into living rooms and sell many of these 4-5*s in person.
We had a killer WR haul before the wheels came off this season. He's going to have to get with it, to snatch MArquez North and Rumph before they commit elsewhere...that includes Derrick Green, too.
Its almost like he is trying to get fired! Surely he is that stupid.
I think DY has not been cleared from concussion. Don't forgot about the going for it on 4th in OT against MO. Basically giving them the game. And the fake punt against last night.
He posted that at one point on here. He has been really good on the recruiting side but terrible on everything else. That should tell us what type of job he has. Just depends on the connection, my brother in law worked in the ad in the late 90s and still has two close friends in the ad. When those two are gone he won't have any connection.
First question for Hart:
"WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?????????"
It's ridiculous. How would you sell a Golden hire to the fanbase?
Battle couldn't best Auburn, Dooley can't best anyone big difference. I'd take Battle any day, and twice on Sunday over Dooley.
Bray simply has regressed. He looked like a 1st Rd prospect as a freshman and before he got hurt last year...even in some games this year. But as a body of work, it's clear, he simply is NOT ready for the NFL. I don't say that because I hope he comes back, but because I have been totally underwhelmed most of the year, how he has a mental meltdown when pressured a bit.Something was wrong with Bray last night. Maybe him and Dooley had words pre game and that's why Dooley pulled him. Who knows? I'm not saying Tyler is having a great year but he is completing 65% of his passes, 30 TD to 12 INT. That's pretty good numbers to be considered a bad year. If he leaves early, he is a 3rd round pick at worse. If he has a good combine. He is a late 1st, early 2nd round pick. And no way Hunter and CP comes back. Hunter is still the number one rated WR on McShays board.
I don't subscribe to conspiracy theories much, but you have to wonder if Hart knew, as well as all of us, what was going to happen if he left Dooley in place.
There are grumblings about some boosters not being on board with paying Gruden, or even getting rid of Dooley at all.
If that is true, what better way to show them the future if we don't do something drastic.
As a result of last night, I wonder how many blank checks were promised to Hart this morning.
