I think DY has not been cleared from concussion. Don't forgot about the going for it on 4th in OT against MO. Basically giving them the game. And the fake punt against last night.

I am not sure, but I think that Urban Meyer still did Espn after he was hired.

College coaches frequently appear as analysts during March Madness. Urban Meyer and Nick Saban worked the Auburn-Oregon national title game as analysts. I see no reason Gruden couldn't do the same.

Coaches are on football shows every week, especially when they have an break during the season. I agree it would be a recruiting advantage, but not an illegal one if he is not promoting the University.

How is Stoops getting away with his commercial with his OU jacket on talking to a young high school player??? That's BS if he could do that I do not see why Gruden couldn't call from the booth. I beleive it will get worked out!! GO VOLS GET GRUDEN!!! I BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rock:

I disagree. If he forfeits 2-3 additional weeks just to finish MNF, that's precious time he can't get back. He and his prospective staff would have a lot of evaluating to do before even hitting the recruiting trail. And even with his name recognition, the last two losses dig a deep, deep hole for him to climb out of. Can't blame those on a brutal schedule.

He's going to have to go into living rooms and sell many of these 4-5*s in person.

We had a killer WR haul before the wheels came off this season. He's going to have to get with it, to snatch MArquez North and Rumph before they commit elsewhere...that includes Derrick Green, too.

The problem Bray has right now is that because of RG3, Luck, and Wilson, teams that take a QB in the first round will expect immediate production.

If he goes early he will need time wherever he goes. He is nowhere near ready to start in the NFL, and no team is going to burn a first round pick on a project QB.

Thanks for clearing me up on DY. Didn't know that. And that fake punt, well I have to admit I laughed at that last night.

This is why I could not understand why he was so rushed against Vandy's undersized DL. Blitzes or not, he had a LOT more time to throw than he thought.

Bray would be a very late pick if at all. He has yet to show poise under pressure, and he will need to do that if he wants an NFL team to risk big money on him. If we get Gruden in here, I think all 3 players return.

Something was wrong with Bray last night. Maybe him and Dooley had words pre game and that's why Dooley pulled him. Who knows? I'm not saying Tyler is having a great year but he is completing 65% of his passes, 30 TD to 12 INT. That's pretty good numbers to be considered a bad year. If he leaves early, he is a 3rd round pick at worse. If he has a good combine. He is a late 1st, early 2nd round pick. And no way Hunter and CP comes back. Hunter is still the number one rated WR on McShays board.

I'm fine with it being a press release. It's more than what this error of Tennessee football deserves. Plus, Hamilton's press conference for Fulmer was a train wreck. I doubt we want to see that again.
