Larry says Gruden isn't likely. Strong, Fisher, and Golden were the other names listed. We have a 25% chance of getting Dooley with a tie on.

What are the issues w/ Bo Pelini? He's 48-18 at Nebraska & has won 9+ every year. He's a defensive minded coach that's been in the SEC before.

Golden is Dooley 2.0. Fisher is overrated, but still better than a lot of coaches. Strong has some flaws, but would be a solid hire. Strong, Shaw, and Taggart are at the top of my wish list if we can't get a home run (Gruden, Patterson, ect...).

Lane Kiffin is an Elite recruiter & doesn't do crap w/ it. Give me a good coach that can coach up players rather than the Kiffins & Swinneys.

Elite recruiters have a much higher ceiling than gameday coaches IMO. A coach like Kiffin needs to bring in an allstar staff and he made a huge mistake bringing his dad to the west coast to face the spread. Elite players can overcome flaws in their coaches. Tennessee won't get to the top in the SEC bringing in classes ranked 10-20 every year.

Petrino was probably the best gameday coach in the SEC, yet he still couldn't even come close to beating LSU and Bama at their best.

With another team having to pay penn state 9.2 million to get obrien, it will probably be a good bit before the position opens up

Meh, he's getting a lot of run for NFL positions.

Probably an out, or they don't care to pay it.

As for UT...its taken about 6-8 weeks for everybody to get there, but I think we're all on the same page now.

I checked out after Miss. State so I'm not all that angry.

I just want brighter days ahead. That's all. Just a sliver of hope.

So glad the Doofus era is over.

I feel so dumb for ever defending him or believing he could get it done here.

Hopefully Hart will hire a proven winner that has what it takes to turn our program around.

Elite players like Bray, CP, Hunter(pxssy effort all year) and a great OL have overcome what mistakes?
