Thus. Hart has either turned this into a giant cluster****, or he's playing it perfectly and we will all be wowed by the next hire.

Or......They are still talking about what it would take to get Gruden here. All you guys that want to be living room AD's need to understand there are so many things going on behind the scenes for multiple reasons. Coaching changes are always rough to deal with. The University is going to lose recruits and not please every fan. Stop the hand wringing and just enjoy the fact we will have a new coach and some hope and excitement for the future.

You see good ADs squash rumors all the time. Keeps the expectations down.

So LWS just said in the Gruden % thread that the chances are less than 5%.

Folks, if I were a gambling man (and I used to be), I'd push all my chips on Gruden not coming here. If there's any "insider" you need to listen to, it's Mr. Larry.

Also, pure logic dictates Gruden isn't coming here, too. But it's been fun dreaming.

Prepare yourselves for disappointment. However, I still believe Hart gets a great coach here. I mean, there is more than just one coach out there that can win at Tennessee.

4 weeks ago he also said 6 wins would save Dooley's job and Smart would be the guy if he was gone. He has since backed off both of these comments. I know he has a good track record but he has been way off on the coaching situation to this point.

I'll gladly eat crow for my faith in the information LWS provides if it's proven wrong. I feel confident that I won't.

I'll continue to say that I hope I'm wrong about this, and that's genuine.

Agreed. I'm not saying he is right or wrong... just that he hasn't been dead on with the coaching situation so far. I think if Gruden comes the fan base with obviously be united and I doubt many will be disappointed to have been wrong.

I'm in the Gruden isn't coming small group. Not that i wouldn't mind, but just don't make sense.

What about OCI, SBV, BabyVol, DocVol, LexVol, JayVols, Boro, OrangeSlice, OldVol and others that say its all but done? I am no AD insider but in course of business talk to a lot of people that should know and they say the same thing.

Is LWS strong enough to negate everyone else saying the opposite that are also respected posters?
