In a lot of cultures, pasta (spaghetti) is an accompaniment, not a main course, the way we use potatoes.
Oddest pasta use I've seen is my ex-SIL, who brought lasagna to Thanksgiving dinner. And she's not Italian. I still don't know where that came from.
Got a question.. Could be racist but its not but if it sounds like it but.. Here we go
My wife is cooking spaghetti and I ask what's going with it I've known the answer for 16 years I've been married to her I've asked it everytime jus shakin my head.
She says we are having spaghetti and catfish I'm fine with that but why does she treat spaghetti as a side..? It's an ethnic thang I believe...
