Word is Dooley will not be fired this week since the team still has a bowl game to play for.

The decision to fire him is made and if we win out the next two weeks he will be announced as fired after the Kentucky game.

If we were to lose to Vandy and bowl game is then out of the question he would be fired that subsequent Monday.

Everyone in program very much wants a bowl game for the new coach to come in and get to know the team.

Good news is there is no doubt anymore if he is gone or not. Only thing is what's Dooley's motivation to help get us to a bowl that he wont even coach in. Really hope we beat Vandy and can get to a bowl just not sure how motivated anybody will be. But hopefully the players step up and want to make a bowl.

So does this mean we already have our coach lined up?

Reading through some of the member's post that had information for getting Gruden....sounds as if their timeline was after UK game....that would line up with Hubbs info....IMO

Took me from 7:30 till now to catch up on the thread. Slow reader. I can sleep easier tonight, because I know, for sure, Dooley's gone. Doesn't matter to me when the announcement is, but just that it's coming. It seemed to me that he was flipping Hart off tonight when he didn't call that time out before end of regulation. I wanted to throw something at the TV. That wasn't a stupid move, he knew what he was doing and it was premeditated. I'm stil mad.

MNF last game is Dec 22nd...That should be before the bowl games start....

I am just throwing it out there..

So Dooley and team are going to somehow fight harder if you delay the inevitable? I'm not buying it, I think Dooley is either fired now or after the Kentucky game.

Did not Goat! If you made me mad you would know it. I think you are hilarious! I must be a terrible poster because I am often misunderstood. Sorry gang! :cray:

Yay! You are a great poster. I thought
you were,... not by what you posted btw.
