I made some disparaging comments about Larry yesterday. Turns out we have a mutual acquaintance. That person told me last night Larry is solid as they come.

The response I can give about whether or not a coach was contacted for a job is that "contact" can mean different things. Coaches can be contacted through feelers without ever having been officially spoken to. Some will know about and some will not.

I have no idea what happened with Shannon, but I bet that if you asked anyone who knows the truth, Shannon was contacted somehow- probably in an informal manner. I don't know why his name would have come up and why it was so strong otherwise.

I certainly believe Larry is solid... I also belive Oldvol and Lex... puts you in a difficult situation.
