sounds ok by me?


This hotel officially holds the award for grossest hotel ever! The rooms wreaked of urine, the bathtubs were moldy, the ceilings were falling off in the hallway and some of the rooms. The beds are stained with what we can only assume is pee and blood, but the blankets wreaked of pee. In the hallway there were beer cans in the light fixtures all week long. Some of the rooms don't have door numbers, instead, where the numbers are usually posted there are numbers written on the wall in pencil. In one of the rooms the water faucet isn't labeled with hot and cold, instead it is labeled on the wall with a magic marker. On the plus side, it was the one of the friendliest staffs I have ever met and if you spend your entire stay in the lobby it couldn't be more enjoyable. It is right off downtown so it's very close to restaraunts and shops, as well as the campus

That actually sounds like it would be one helluva lot of fun. Unfortunately, it is the night before the game that I need a room for.

And, to make it worse, I just thought about the fact that I need to be at the boathouse at 9am, and there isnt going to be any freaking parking ANYWHERE for a reasonable price. eff that.

Now Im mostly concerned about how to park without paying a fortune.

Or...do you have an address for the boat house?

One thing about Knoxville...very very very safe on an early Saturday morning

the boathouse is across Neyland Drive from.....wait for it....Neyland Stadium. Its that little building that looks like it might have...boats in it.

for a noon game, will there be anywhere downtown to park? I will be getting there around 8am if I just drive in on Saturday.

(not sure if Im driving saturday, or staying the night Friday...but it is cheaper to drive there and back on Friday for a job interview and then drive back again on Saturday than it would be to go to the Holiday Inn or something downtown)

Oh...yeah, I have seen that. Huh....I never made the connection.

Yeah, you in deep doo-doo! No hotels near that; and no parking for gayta; and at 0900 Saturday morning, the joint will be jumping.

Hmmm....have you ever slept in a van down by the river? Roll into Calhons there about midnight
