Why? Tubs has proven he can win in this conference. Mullen would be way better than what we have now and IIRC Florida's offensive production took a nosedive after his departure.

Like Patterson at 2 or 3 would take Strong in a New York minute. I'm not a fan of Mullen. Tubbs can recruit like a mother, kinda old though.

Kinf of odd to me how little Patterson's name is brought up The guy has flat out won at TCU and would be well in the range of a guy UT could get. I believe he could win big here. He is a defensive minded coach and bringing Shannon would be the icing on the cake.

The SEC has passed Tubby by. Too many coaching upgrades since he was here. If it was Mullens, well, I think that would be setteling on a coach and not getting a first choice. We have to recruit against Saban, Miles, Richt, Spurrier and who knows at Arky. We have to compete at the recruiting level first before we can compete on the field.
