Saints are the NFL version of UT...awesome passing attack, mediocre running game, horrible defense, coach MIA :)

Italian-american defensive coordinator (not saying there is any correlation between italian-american coordinators and sucking at coordinating)

My only complaint, boobies, not enough boobies.

We can fix this:

I hope beyond hope that Tennessee is somehow able to pull off this Gruden hire. If not I would go all in for Patterson from TCU. Its possible he would bring Shannon with him to be DC. Another name I think other people may be looking over is Tuberville. I know I know another retread. But look at his time at Auburn. They were almost always competitive, sent countless players to the NFL, and should've won a national title during his tenure there. Wouldn't be a homerun hire but would be a damn solid one I believe.

Now that's a reasonable post. Everybody would love Gruden (including doubters like me), but the truth is there are lot of solid hires that could be made.

We just need someone that can return stability and credibility to the program.

May have been asked before and I missed it but how much do you trust your source? Was was his stance on say the Shannon situation?

First and foremost I am not about e-cred, starting rumors or stirring the pot. I trust my source, he has yet to be wrong on anything I have asked and that is good enough for me. I never asked him about Shannon because I never thought it had a possibility. I was more than skeptical on the Gruden rumor, I no longer am skeptical. Anything can happen but there is a whole lot of truth that has been said in this thread and naysayers have their right to speak their mind. None of the guys in the know in this thread are not trolling anyone info coming out is slow compared to the demands posters are asking for in this thread.
