Well, as bad as I hate to even say this, the reason Kentucky fired JP this weekend is because less than 20k were in Commonwealth stadium for the Vandy game. We may have to resort to the only thing we can control, our level of investment in this current situation. What happens if the fan base gets deathly quiet?

A part of me just wants to throw in the towel and say "to hell with it" and the other part of me says "hell no..you better not throw in the towel". I'm going with the latter..Not waivering or changing my stance.

My whole family is from alabama. I have held out for the whole 17 years that I have been married. My resolve weakens with every day that Dooley is a coach and a homerun coach is less likely.

Been a fan for 26 years but I am not sure how much I can take. You can call me bandwagon or Not-VFL for all I care. I am at my breaking point.

I have been checking and posting in these threads since JG2 and I have soaked up every bit of good of news in the hopes that someone would see us out of this nightmare but..............it looks lost.

So, I might check back in but I'm done with this. I have loved talking and listening to you guys. I hope that this works out for all of you that have the mental gas left. My tank is empty.

Peace.

From a person in the AD and people at work very keyed in to the process.

The same person that told me they saw the MOU in print now says it is a no go.

I have not gotten one piece of positive news yesterday or today and talked to several people in that time frame.

I really wish I was a former player or someone involved in another way so I could expand and not do it at the risk of my livelihood. The people that talk to me are also responsible for my paycheck either directly or indirectly.

and now my apathy has reached an all-time high!!!!

This weeks meeting is of utmost importance.

You guys are solid.

Not that it matters, but, I think I'll go into lurker mode for a bit...I do appreciate all the info given...and you all know who you are...

I enjoy the diatribe, the supposition, all the talk of hope and change, but this seesaw stuff is for the birds...I think Im just gonna "smoke on it for a while" as they say!

I'll be in the corner, watching the show...

Neylands attendance this past weekend was a full house by Kentucky standards and an empty house by our standards. If that is the turn out for the Missouri and Kentucky games then Dooley is gone no matter if we win out. Some believe he is already gone, just isn't public info yet.

Welcome to the madness. :hi:

Thanks. I have been lurking in the background watching this drama unfold since about the Georgia game. Just introduced myself to TSR in the past couple of weeks and cant seem to pry myself from the radio or the app waiting to hear what happens. Be glad when something is done.

My thing is why has Gruden himself not come out and say he is not interested. That leaves me to believe he is still in play. A lot of smoke screens out there today.

Basilio will be having a rally on Peyton Manning Pass. Bring pitch forks, open flames, orange pants, and sticks of bamboo. Big Will is going to be doing the prayer at the torch bearer before the uprising.

Why would Gruden say anything either way when he could use the leverage for any other coaching job?
