That's fine he has convinced you because you said everything he has said has happened. I want to know what has happened like he predicted to this point???

If Dooley isn't replaced, UT football is effectively dead.

Is it not possible that due to the low attendance Saturday and the fact we beat Troy by only 7, that the AD or Boosters knew the fanbase would be rabid. Therefore leak out that Gruden is not coming to maybe and I stess maybe get the light off of Dooley for the time being to let this thing play out. I have no source not an insider just throwing things around in my head trying to make sense of this mess. :unsure:

My thing is I wouldn't have a huge issue with keeping Dooley as long as we fired the entire defensive staff, but at that point you just kinda have to fire the whole staff.

You can't just change coordinators every single season.

I posted awhile back about Jimmy Cheek. Everyone wondered why I did. Folks, the way I see it, there is going to be a fundamental change in the reporting and power of the athletic department, the president, and chancellor.

Do you think that thunder is happy that the Thorton center is run by the university and not the athletic department? This is an opportunity to change things and take back control. With Bill Haslam as the governor, these things can move in the right direction.

MARYLAND fired Ralph Friedgen at the end of a 9 win bowl season (they let him coach the bowl game) after he had been there for close to ten years. MARYLAND.

the only thing that will get dooley fired is losing a couple of the games we have left. i hate to say that but, you can't keep a coach that loses to mizzou and vandy.....right???

Yeah, if they are trying to keep the media off the Hunt for a new coach they are at the same time projecting to our fanbase that the powers that be don't really care about the team at all. If we named an interim now we might rally and win these last three but I don't really think it is possible with this staff. I WISH they could prove me wrong.

Not only am I fairly sure Gruden's not coming, but now I'm very, very worried Derek Dooley is sticking around another year.

And to that I say screw you, Dave Hart. Have fun with a half-empty stadium every week.

And I know Dooley is gone. There's no way he stays, because he's going to lose to Vanderbilt or Missouri. I just want them to get it over with and give this fanbase some hope.
