Some people are so stupid! The OP wasn't rooting against the Vols! He is saying that if Troy did beat us that loss would likey bring our misery to an end sooner rather than later! If the Vols did lose and DD was fired every one on here would be ecstatic! What's the difference???

Yes I've been bashed all day over this issue....the issue most everyone at the game felt too. When troy scored to tie us it was to the point of being funny. That's why I felt...hey why not troy win and end this disaster coaching we have. No one seems to get I wasn't rooting or cheering for troy.

I have bet against Tennessee many times when they are favorite but not cheer against them to lose. I want Dooley gone tomorrow and hope its been decided but I hope they win out. Unfortunately I don't think they will.

HORSE SH**. I will NEVER hope the Vols lose. Most hope we lose to Mizzou or Vandy? Double HORSE SH**, are you effn kidding me? I want to win out and win a bowl. Be kinda cool to finish 8-5 with a bowl victory if you ask me, but Im one of those silly people who pay money and go to the games, and dont sit here and bash and pick apart the players on game day. I honestly cant believe that anyone who calls themselves a fan would ever want TN to lose. Damn!

Either your in denial or a total drunk dickh***....I pay good money for my tix and actually attend the games and a donor for this university and have been for a long time! I don't want the vols to lose but can't watch us be put through such madness with this coaching staff. Apparently u didn't read my entire post with knowledge...like I said before...I'm a vol alumni...a VFL! End of story

Look, Beating the likes of Troy, Vandy, Ga.State, etc. are not going to save CDD anyway. Fulmer was fired because he couldnt beat Meyer and Saban. Sorry I went off like that.

Ehh as bad as I want change I would never root for another team over Tennessee. If nothing else than for the sake of the players. I hope the team finishes 8-5 because I still don't think it's enough to keep dooley around. I want to see some of these fine young men like Lathers sent out on a good note. It was a shame what happened to the seniors last year. It's not their fault that they aren't being coached right. I may want to see the coaches gone but I will always support the team and the players.

I have been supporting the Vols for 41 years. However, I will not support keeping Dooley. He should join Joker on the dead man walking list as of tomorrow.

I will always support the university of tennessee and the student athletes...I'm not blaming anything on them or wish them any harm or lose to games! I would love nothing more than to see every vol suceed and be profitable in their future. But I will not support this particular coaching staff nor root for their antics...which I must say has no reflections on the players! I know they play their hearts out and I'm proud to be a vol and former student but can't stand see our program go down this path any longer!

I was hoping Troy would win as well. It's so sad that it has come to this and I have never wanted UT to lose before. I'm at the point where I seriously don't give a crap about our football program. I don't think it's possible to hire a coach worse than Dooley but I have no confidence we'll ever get back to where we were. Such doom and gloom talk but it is what it is..

Any good coaching staff can win when the crowd is pulling for the team. Keep pulling for them if they are not good then they will not win but you , FAN, are part of the team. Seems fans want to git rid of a bad team player. Dont be one.:good!:

Shaun, we'll be back bro. This is nothing no other major program hasnt went through. The climb back will be worth it. These effers will be jumping off alabamas bandwagon back onto ours in no time.

I simply cannot, under any circumstances, root against UT. Period, dot.

Those who do need to get a grip. Even if Dooley survives, which appears to be a coin flip at best, there is no way he survives another year like this, if next year is also bad.

3 years, 4 years, all the same to me, given the deep hole we were in the last 2 years.

Had Dooley not hired Sunseri, we might all be feeling optimistic right now. Who knows....
