And by the way, all this negative Dooley sh!t has probably cost us 2 five star commits.

Way to help solve the talent gap Vol "fans".:Bbiteme:

I would say Dooley being Dooley probably had more to do with it than anyone on here.

We didn't get them because DD is not that good o a recruiter. How many top 100 players has DD got the last two years?

Hahahahahahaha. You too, huh? Jeez. The ignorance around here is amazing. So it's not just one guy.

Liberal and socialist aren't the same thing. Anybody who actually does a little research (real research) and keeps just the SLIGHTEST BIT of an open mind knows that. Clearly you have done neither of those things.

I am a liberal, yes. But I am not a socialist. NOR IS OBAMA. The fact that people actually associate Democrats/liberals with socialism is laughable to me.

Are you a racist? I mean, you don't like Obama after all. Is that why? Not a fair question/accusation, right? Well, it's the same damn thing.

To answer your question, I don't like Obama because I see that the economy hasn't improved since he took over and his foreign policy is absolutely terrible. Oh, and I'm pro-life. Yes, pro-life Democrats do exist. How about that. I'm sure you're shocked. Try to handle it as best you can.

Lberals are socialist. Sorry. That's how it is. Or we can call it collectivism if the word socialist insults your sensibilities.

And it is ironic that you don't like Obama because of lack of improvement in the economy. It is not the responsibilty of the President or the government to "fix" the economy. The only way that the economy will ever fix itself is if the government stops trying to be its master. This is another "collectivist" myth. That somehow the economy will only flourish with rigorous licensing demands and regulations at every turn.

It is clear to me that the only reason you vote as a liberal is that you really have no interest in preserving the ideals that made this country great in the first place. If you had any context of history, you would understand that altruism leads to collectivism which leads to tyranny. Keep voting for tyranny though if you wish.

Dooley isn't going anywhere any time soon.

its a process..we are in the middle of a process.

And 3 years isn't that long... sorry.. Its not..

If this "process" is so widely understood by people with football knowledge, why did the majority of Dooley's staff jump ship. Surely they would understand firsthand that success was just around the corner...hell even Terry Joseph jumped off the sinking ship.

Well played, hilarious

You have nothing to base your statement on that he is a good coach. Literally nothing he has done has hinted that he might be a good coach. There are plenty of things that point to him being a mediocre/bad coach but not really anything to the positive.

He's not a good recruiter. He obviously either can't pick defensive coordinators worth a damn or got screwed but either way he hasn't shown anything to support your statement.

I am not on the Dooley train, but I can't see why you say he isn't a good recruiter. Considering the circumstances, he has recruited very well. Just because you don't like him doesn't mean he doesn't do anything well. He has had some bad coaching moments, he has had some bad luck, and it is time to move on. But let's look at it without getting our emotions involved.

I'm talkjing about Green nad Bell. Dooley has been in the top 5 on many 5 stars but the negativity surrounding our program has spooked them. If you think this is a false statement, I will never convince you otherwise.

I disagree. If you're SEC, you automatically recruit better than most of the nation. He has brought in middle of the pack classes in the SEC - this next year, we may not even get that. That's not horrible, but that is not good. At least to me. I'm not emotional about our recruiting classes, by the way.

Yeah we're all waiting for the SEC 2 deep talent.. Dooley isn't ever going to get it.. His classes are going in the wrong direction every year.. With the way he's recruiting there will always be holes on this team.. He's not getting enough talent to keep up with the top teams in this conference.. Hell his older players are losing games to younger teams now.. We're not getting anywhere, just stuck in the middle to bottom third..

hahahahaha.....I bet your an OBAMA supporter! haha...He is doing a great job too right?
You bethcha , and he will be re-elected over the objection of the Southern states. Thank goodness the rest of the country isn't stuck on STUPID! What this country needs is Democratic majority in the House or the replacement of the extremists with more moderate dare I say it, repubs. BTW, Fla could be the exception in the Southern block, it's a coin flip. :birgits_giggle:

He has NFL talent on offense...he brought in Hunter, Patterson, Richardson, Stone, and Rogers. We can argue all day about this. But considering how Kiffin left and the circumstances he was in, he has recruited pretty well. Georgia, USC, Alabama, and Auburn aren't the same during Fulmer's years. I will leave it at that.

That's BS
Negative comments on a message board aren't going to make a difference
Compared to coaches attitudes and the opportunity to play for a winning program, and let me stress winning

Good point.

Bull. UF only gave Zook 3 years, and he was 16-8 in the SEC.

We all know what happened next.

Dooley has had enough time. Goodbye, sir!!

I would think it mean that if we win out he is happy with the Coach and we should too!

I honestly don't see how winning out changes a damn thing. All it proves is that Dooley can win against weaker opponents. If the powers that be want to continue to feel good about themselves just because we go 7-5 or 6-6, beat the little sisters of the poor and the bottom of the SEC then fine. I remember when competing for championships and beating Alabama, Florida, and Georgia were the measuring stick of a successful season for us!
