A lot of people were mad b/c of that, but I stayed positive and strong..

Last night, the thread took a great turn and was really pleasant and everyone was pulled out of their "feeling down" moment..

I've been following along and last night was pretty fun as well - just wish there were and easier way to refresh the thread on my phone!

I have confirmed that he was in town and shopping for a home. Now - it has been stated that due to family being in the area he has done this before. Take it for what it's worth but he was in town!


I add this to my post. I will not share who I exchanged PM's with.. I know I have not given you very much info but just telling you that your one "source" was correct. If that other poster cares to elaborate then so be it...but I value his friendship and will not.

Well, my work and college schedule affords me plenty of time on the computer and as such, I am mostly here during the day. That said, yesterday was meltdown mode for me and I think most others...

I don't believe I said anything bad, but I don't recall. I know I may have become testy about certain "hot-point" things, but it was only in angst.

I apologize if I pissed anybody off. Outside of that, I have slept, got a good dip in atm, and now I'm ready to talk Gruden and the positive future of UT Football.

I miss the sharing of real information, even if speculation, and detest the troll like tendencies of some.

That said, I am still all in. Gruden 2012.

"From good source: Very lucrative offer made to Coach Gruden. Gruden intrigued enough to exchange red-lined proposed changes. Maybe he's using this to up his ante with ESPN but seems to be serious. As I've said before, I'm surprised he's interested but apparently he is.

From weak source: Gruden supposedly was in Knoxville at some point last week. I am skeptical on that but merely passing along gossip.

Apparently Coach Dooley handling situation with a lot of class/ integrity. Apparently the big boosters are putting up big $ for this job, but I don't know what happens if short list turns the job down, including whether Dooley gets another year.

I saw those uni's! I thought they were neat! Would love to see some kind of retro look for our team like that! (Not starting a new uniform thread either...LOL)

Those were some ugly azz uniforms the Steelers wore Sunday.

I could go for some retro T uniforms, though.

Well TIFWIW, but I know for a fact that nothing has been laid in stone this whole time.

I knew this. I tried to stay objective. When all you get is what youre fed here it makes it easy to go nutzo. Trust me.

Thats what caused the roar, alot of people (self included) let the intangibles become tangible and when it didnt happen, we went bonkers.

But, I respect your stance.:good!:
