I never listen to local radio usually XM, and this morning reminded me why. I have to get my daughter a car so I drove one overnight that doesnt have XM, a little older and listened to whoever was on 99.1 at about 8am this morning for maybe 15 minutes.

They were talking about how it is 100% that CP, JH, and TB go pro next year and there is no one behind them even close to their skill level. They went on to say how good a job Dooley has done as a recruiter?

Wait, WTF? If there is no one behind the 3 best players on Offense after they leave, how the eff can he have done such a great job recruiting?

Just reminded me how easy it is to get on the radio, my undergrad degree is in Communication-broadcasting. You do not have to know anything about what you speak about, so long as you have the right voice and personality lol.

To those that may be more in the know:

What do you take from the fact that Kevin Steele said he and Gruden had talked several times over the last week or so, and that Mr. Hubbs confirmed "they had spent time together recently talking ball."

It actually did, but he didn't seem to be a fan of the Cards. Appeared to be really impressed with the niners. But why wouldn't he be? Harbaugh coaching them up. And I'm not a fan of the niners.

"From good source: Very lucrative offer made to Coach Gruden. Gruden intrigued enough to exchange red-lined proposed changes. Maybe he's using this to up his ante with ESPN but seems to be serious. As I've said before, I'm surprised he's interested but apparently he is.

From weak source: Gruden supposedly was in Knoxville at some point last week. I am skeptical on that but merely passing along gossip.

Apparently Coach Dooley handling situation with a lot of class/ integrity. Apparently the big boosters are putting up big $ for this job, but I don't know what happens if short list turns the job down, including whether Dooley gets another year.

In any event, I think we will all owe a small circle of people an enormousness debt of gratitude for contributing a sizeable amount of money to land a big fish."

As for your weak source - it's pretty strong... actually it is 100% correct.


I will tell you this and you can take it how you want. This can all be verified by another poster which I exchanged PM's with in ref to this.

I have confirmed that he was in town and shopping for a home. Now - it has been stated that due to family being in the area he has done this before. Take it for what it's worth but he was in town!


I add this to my post. I will not share who I exchanged PM's with.. I know I have not given you very much info but just telling you that your one "source" was correct. If that other poster cares to elaborate then so be it...but I value his friendship and will not.
