Thats fair. Im in the same boat. I wanted to try and stay rational, but today I think I lost that. My dad and I have been so excited at the prospect of true positive change, then I come in here today and it feels near what it felt like when Kiffy left in the middle of the night.

Also, years of being a Vol fan have led me to be super pessimistic about any rumors containing good news.

And tried to take our recruiting class with him.

He's a swell guy.



P.s. I was always told actions speak louder than words. Guess that's not true as long as Kiffin never said anything bad about us.

It all comes down to if Gruden wants to come here then if Boosters even maybe Peyton wanna pony up the money, There is 1,000 Rumors and ways it could Go Down from the AD Dept to the Dooley trying to get the NC job and walk away last year. None of us know when besides Gruden and the ones putting up the CASH. I hope it is all True and Gruden is here by 2013 but this span could roll on until after the Bowl games. I wannna know as much as the next guy but I am driving my self crazy thinking and looking everyday on every website I can trying to find out lol. I said from the Git Go Dooley was over his head he is a good guy I have nothing against him and hate to see people bash his Family I think he is just not a SEC Coach. I would Like to see the AD Dept end all the Speculation and back up one way or the other what is going on but they have a responsibility to the players and the School.with that being Said Like PF said I'll always be a Vol

No, we will be stuck with DD at least through the UK game even if he loses them all, if any of the following are true:

1. The AD has given up on the season and it is easier to let Captain Ahab stay on the sinking ship than dealing with the whole interim nightmare; OR

2. The AD is giving DD a chance to save his job by winning X amount of games; OR

3. The AD doesn't have his man just yet.

The only way DD gets canned is if the AD has decided to make a change and has DD's replacement ready to be announced.

I understand your stance, I am cautiously optimistic about any rumor as well. And patience is the hardest thing to have in theses situations. I just wish Hart would quit dragging this out and would give us a straight answer.

I'm sorry but if I was coaching at USC trying to return them to revel acne again, I'd give my all for them and try and make it happen but if UT called and offered I'd be gone no matter what. I can't blame him for accepting a job at his dream school. It just really sucks that it was at our expense.

No one knows when the announcement will be except for Hart, but the consensus is that Dooley is already gone, and that's good enough for me.

Well it's right at two hours past noon, so where is that BIG ANNOUNCEMENT that was supposed to have happened according to the many insiders on this forum. Looks like the people out of the know, knows as much as you do and that is nothing at all.
