Stoops has lost his luster for me. His teams seem to underachieve every year.

You sure are pumping Petrino hard for a guy who is certain that Gruden is going to be the next coach. Laying the groundwork for your next prediction that Petrino has been hired?

I don't think Petrino is garbage. He's a very good offensive coach. He's very, very overrated in my opinion though.

Yes. It was announced he will be absorbing Hart's job, as well. Hart is leaving to be the AD at a school with boosters that are "less crazy."

If winning these last 4 games is used as a judgement to keep Dooley than the person making the decision should be fired.

Stoops has been to 4 BCS bowl games, which is the marker you're using for Petrino's success. He won one of them too, which was the National Championship game.

I don't care about head to head matchups. It's about the cumulative resume. His does not stack up to any of those other coaches.

Not trying to be a jerk, I just get annoyed when I hear so much how amazing Petrino is and how good we would be if we hired him.

In a perfect world, yes it would and it would be delivered by a lucha mask wearing chair wielder. A slow removal would reveal Gruden. Total slobberknocker of a press conference.

He stayed too long at OU. Wouldn't be surprised to see him on the move. He needs a fresh start somewhere. Auburn or Arkansas wouldn't be a bad landing spot for him.
