What damage does it do, aside from pissing off a restless fanbase? None, that's what. It doesn't even effect recruiting at this point in a way that won't be instantly fixed with a Gruden announcement.

I am like a few of you fine folks, with no word from the AD, you almost have to speculate that there is something coming. Even if it were a "evaluation after the season" I would expect he already coming out and saying something. It's not like these rumors are only bound to forums...JMO. It's been so crazy that going silent to me would represent "something's coming and when it happens you will know"
