BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rumor has it that a man just called into an Arkansas radio station claiming to be "Dale" from Springdale and said he poisoned Grudens trees in Sevierville with Spike 80DF.......Hung up after saying """Pig Sooie"

Hint: Gruden's last season was 2008.

Seriously?? Come on, guys, not even the newest fan of football in the world actually believes that. I can see it now......

Pats GM: "Hey, coach, we just signed player XX"
Belichick: "And then??"
Pats GM: "We signed him, he's gonna play for the Pats."
Belichick: "Not while I'm here, he's not."

And repeat for the other 31 teams.

I think Derek Dooley is doing his level best, but the :cray:in our fanbase with the "you have to win NOW because we were AWESOME in the past" are giving him the crap end of the stick because he hasn't won now. Funny, Spurrier got how many years with SC before they were relevant?? (*yes, CSS has a NC ring, I know this....*) How many years did the fans of the chickens have to "be patient"?? I think Tennessee would benefit if our fanbase, or at least the more vocal majority of it, would just learn to be (*fornicating*) patient.

So how much longer should we wait? What expectations do you have for this program? What evidence can you show that Dooley has made significant progression? Before calling everyone else crybabies, how about you lay down your reasoning for keeping Dooley other than "consistency"? He could be consistently mediocre, is that good enough for you? How much is too much?

Belichick is probably the worst example. He runs everything inside and out. He is the GM and coach. Not all orgs have a coach that can do that.

yep...2008,the Bucs went 9-7,Gruden got fired and they went 3-13...nice job of proving my point that the man can coach...

and if you think most NFL coaches get to pick and choose, you are mistaken...why do you think Reese and Fisher hated each other so bad,and it was either Floyd
or Fisher that was gone...Bud Adams picked Fisher...And
when they wanted a QB with the 3rd pick,Fisher made it publicly known he wanted Leinart or Cutler,Bud picked VY for him...Now tell me what part of this sounds like
the coach is picking his players...Reese has said many times the GM's job is to evaluate the weak spots of the team, use free agency and the draft to fill it...its the coaches job to coach them up...and don't forget the whole New England/Parcells saga about cooking and buying groceries...because he had no personnel decision making power...there's you 2 examples, you only asked for 1 though...:hi:

Which happens to be your teams only one. Shouldn't you be happy about that?

To be perfectly honest with you, had I known then what I know now (and if I had the ability to change it), I would trade that SB ring for Jon Gruden never having been the coach of the Buccaneers. Yes, I'm perfectly serious.

A'ight, y'all.....time for me to roll out for the night. Be good to each other and remember, #grudenisGARBAGE

:salute:
