That's where I'm at.

If it doesn't happen today or tomorrow, maybe Tuesday... 'll lose a lot of hope on getting Gruden.

I can at least wait until tomorrow before losing my **** though.

Some people are just like kids throwing a hissy fit and losing control if everything they want doesn't happen now! now! now! It's crazy how impatient some people are and how easily they give up.

Some people said it wouldn't happen til Monday and people give up and freakout at 11 on Sunday. Patience isn't a strong suit around here.

Skepticism is understandable considering all of the hardships that we have endured thru the years with this program; therefore, patience as a whole has disappeared...

That being said, I'm still as confident as I was a few weeks ago..Until there is a reason for my confidence to change, it will stay very high..

I'm cool as a cucumber right now just waiting on the Titans to make it three in a row..

Keeping the faith and still believing..

If Gruden becomes the head coach of UT my prediction is...

1st Year
5-7 - A new coaching staff, probably switching back to a 4-3 defense and assuming Bray, Hunter, and Patterson are gone. Just keep the ship steady. At seasons end a pissed off Barbara Dooley is calling every radio show in the country. Meanwhile Derek Dooley is the AD at some MAC school.

2nd Year
8-5 - Get a couple upset wins in conference and are starting to be competitive in the East. Win the Chick-fil-A Bowl.

3rd Year
11-3 - Win the East, but lose in the SEC Championship. Gruden gets fined for making the team walk home from Atlanta after the disappointing loss. Win the Capital One Bowl

4th Year
Not really sure, but gonna go ahead and say undefeated National Champions

5th Year
See year 4

6th Year
The Jacksonville Jaguars get tired of losing and move to Halifax, Nova Scotia to become the CFL Halifax Ice Fish. UT joins the AFC South

I do understand though if its true and Gruden is really taking his NCAA test after NOV 1, that would make sense to wait. But someone said mid to late november and that makes no sense to me if the job is going to a guy not coaching. Just hesitant to believe anything at this point

Between SBV, OV, Boro, BC... who said Troy?

I'm not blindly following everything at this point. Just willing to wait til the end of tomorrow before losing faith. 11 in the morning on a Sunday is too early for me to freakout.

Maybe they in church ;)

DTO agreed with I think it was BORO that we shouldnt be suprised to see Dooley coach against TROY. Said they said the earliest would be MON.

This. I will believe it when I see it BUT several have said that it could take time. OCI even said that Dooley could be fired after USC or after UK. I don't see how this changes much. We just want it to happen quickly.

Good to know. At the very least, I'm not panicking right now. Would be disheartening if Dooley wasn't fired by the end of tomorrow but there is still a lot of time between now and then. I think my hopes go down a little if it's not today or tomorrow. But in no way am I giving up on the idea that he could still be fired today or tomorrow. Plenty of time to get er' done, wooo weeee!

I don't know you, or owe you anything friend. Ive been 100% consistent with my info. There is a timeline, but its fluid. This is happening, just not on your schedule. The only thing you need to know is Dooley is gone, and Gruden is agreed in principle.

Geez..this is like dealing with my sisters kids or something.

It's like waiting for a baby to be born...you know it's coming but just don't know the exact minute. :)

AGREE on the plenty of time to fire him between now and tomorrow but seems like they are less confident.
