Dude. Poor you. Bless your little heart.

Of all the "insiders" in this thread OCI is the least likely one to have real credible sources. He simply piggy backs off the post of others. The others may very well be spot on here and I think its very believable they are correct.

I have full confidence that an agreement has been reached. It's done.

Jon Gruden will be the next head football coach at the University of Tennessee.

Not according to Tampa sports talk radio. If Gruden comes back next year as a coach it will be for the Philadelphia Eagles replacing Andy Reid.

However with Gruden off the table...there may be a chance to get Skip Holtz if he gets canned at USF. :eek:k:

yea god, here you ______ go again. just to shut all you
______ that are asking for Gruden,i hope you get your wish and then he goes 1-11 next year.I will be the first one on here to say "I TOLD YOU SO".:whistling:

Again. Hoping your team fails so you can say "I told you so" to message board posters. Who are the true fans again?

Here's the thing about boosters. They aren't created equal, even among the very upper levels of giving. It may come as a surprise to some, but there are loads of boosters who give $75k or $100k to the University every year who have no involvement whatsoever with issues like this, and get no "inside" info about it. There is no double-secret email list you get put on once you cross a certain threshold of giving. The people who would be involved with this issue and may have knowledge about it are a very small handful of the very top boosters, i.e., the guys who were sitting with Peyton and perhaps a few others that you could count on one hand, or certainly both hands. So when Hyams or whoever says he talked with "a pretty significant booster" it may mean something, or it may well mean nothing at all.

Not going to get into debate over this, but I strongly disagree with this.....Last statement on the subject

They are not asking for it if they are not getting any info or they haven't agreed to a disclosure statement...

You can believe me if you want too or you can believe what you want......

Man. Why didn't you come in here and say so earlier. We could have closed the thread at 24365 posts.

So a guy who gets cut loose at South Florida should be hired at Tennessee. That is beyond ridiculous. I hope you are joking.

sorry Springbok and others....I don't believe it just yet.

when is this planning on taking place. After the USCe game? after the season? what's the timeframe?

If anything, whats the over/under on freakout threads if he wears an orange tie?

I'd say there will be at least 15... Mods will have a hard time trying to merge them all to this thread. I so hope he does though. When you think about it, there are three teams who will probably looking for a coach by seasons end that wear orange. Obviously us, the Browns, and the Longhorns. Obviously all different shades (we are the only ones cool enough to wear the pantone 151) and then there will probably be another thread trying to figure out what shade his tie really is. It never ends! lol

And what is your position? How does badgering him better yourself? Just curious as to why "setting him out" is necessary?

OCI reminds me of the BAMA bandwagon fans in Tennessee. Everything they do is for attention. They cant stand out in a crowd on their own without trying really hard to call attention to themselves.

Man, even if that were true (no offense), what does it matter?

You calling him out looks like a self-righteous or jealous comment.

Sorry, man.

I don't know. The last time I donated $100k all I got was a toaster.

I mean it was a nice toaster, so I won't complain, but still...

Well, we can all put the rumor to rest now... time to move on to the Charlie Strong thread everyone!

One more year with Dooley would get us a lot closer to 1-11 than Gruden would.
