Lmfao..OK Obama your an idiot. So then tell me why he would be a bad hire. Here is you a few that makes him good.

1. Successful NFL Superbowl winning Coach.
2. A strong disciplinarian that we havent had in forever.
3. A name and face everyone knows and recruiting would be unreal.
4. Could hire an allstar and successful coaching staff.
5. He and his Wife love UT.
6. No off the field problems and won't embarrass the university and would run it with class.
7. Very knowledgeable and defensive minded, not to mention doesnt run the spread BS.
8. Understands and respects UT, the fans and the passion of the fans and university.

How's that for starters? Your up!..Tell me what makes him not a good hire. Take your time!

It would be a lifetime contract. He's not getting a HC chance again anytime soon. Not at a school that matters anyway.

I want him as far away from our program as possible.

He can be the pencil pusher for some other unfortunate University to deal with.

I heard that Haslam is making Trent Richardson change his name to M. Lane and sending him to Knoxville. Gruden is in Cleveland picking him up right now. Don't panic when the picks of Gruden with the Browns leak! He is just picking up "M. Lane."

I fail to believe that at all. I haven't heard this except from those that hate CDD to the point that its just stupid. Can't pass rumor around as facts. Atleast state it as a rumor.

It's never a good idea to keep a former coach around. Coaches want to coach and having a backseat former coach in the AD office is a recipe for disaster.

I like Dooley and wished he had gotten the team to do better this year. He has done a good job recruiting and the talent level is much better than when he arrived. Now it's time to get a coach (hopefully Gruden) who can teach these kids how to win.

This may or may not have been brought up before, so SIAP. I have a class here at UT taught by a very well connected professor who says that last year Dooley would pipe in crowd noise during away week practices. The noise was so loud that surrounding classrooms (especially amb) could not function. When approached about this by Hart, Dooley literally told him to f*** off. This put Hart in a very awkward position with Cheek and has soured Hart's attitude toward Dooley.
