Official Jon Gruden Thread III

Jeremy Bates and John Shoop would be the two most logical OC candidates. I believe Graham will be retained. Shoop and Pittman coached together at UNC, so I could see Pittman also staying.

Raheem Morris would be dynamite (I think he should have been considered a head coaching candidate). His ability to recruit would be incredible.

Wasn't part of the hold up with Miami last year was that he wanted his brother to be OC? Jay is currently the OC for the Bengals. I dunno, maybe it was just his excuse to back out once he realized the mess Miami was going to be.

Bates will be on his staff. No doubt.

I don't know just what you have been dealing with the past day or so, nor do I need to know. You and yours are in my prayers. Hope that helps. And I appreciate you, boro, Old Vol, SBV and others that have shared info.

A most interesting triad of threads on Gruden. And I suspect a 4 Gruden thread will be here soon.

And one more "Scenes I'd like to see" scene. Could make a big difference in this young man's life.

I think there is a good chance it works out from what I've heard.
Regardless of what some think Saturday is very important for CDD. It's not over yet. (Reminder-I think he should be replaced)

It's scary, but for a good while now, we've been thinking the exact same thing. You have the sources. I just have my opinion based on all of the posts, and it's that 8-4 means no coaching change. :hi:

Not sure why everyone thinks Gruden is some sort of savior.

If he comes, loses, then two years later you'll be hanging him out to dry just like Dooley.

Been on and off all day...what actually happened on here to make people lose faith? All I saw was a bunch of doubters flood the board but nothing concrete...I'm still in the same place I was...I am hoping...excited about the possibility...and will believe the hire is Gruden until its not.

The pumpers invaded but the rebellion was quelled.

Well bender, the comment came a little late cause now I'm believing like everyone else.. Don't want too and probably shouldn't but what the heck. Need something to believe in I guess?

Yeah I can be random since I hop in and out. Hope this all comes to fruition shep

No.

And in 2.5 years, surely he'd have a better SEC win than Vanderbilt, Kentucky and Ole Miss.

That's the worst.

The man won a Superbowl using NFL players and he's a broadcaster on ESPN, what's so amazing?
