My grandfather got transfered to Ga Baptist. Surgeon said it will prob be Sunday before they can do the surgery. He's on plavix(sp?). His blood would be too thin.

On a side note: my mom and grandmother are horrible backseat drivers...

My wife is a horrible side seat driver. You would think I wouldn't be able to get anywhere without her.

Hope everything goes will with your grandfather. Keep us posted.

Bamboo? I need some. I haven't fished with a cane pole in a while. Nothing like snatching shell cracker out if a pond with crickets and a cane pole.

I just saw that Jarrod Shaw was promoted to starting OL from the practice squad for the Brown's. Vols moving up and taking over up there (haslam).

Surgeon has decided that he's not gonna do surgery!!! After looking at the ct scan, he thinks its got as good of a chance of healing on its own. Def an answered prayer. I don't think his body is in any shape to handed surgery.

:good!::dance2::yahoo:

Good news my friend.

Best news we could have hoped for. Dr said it would take up to 8 weeks to fully heal. That's about the same as having surgery.

So, where does he recover? At home or a facility or something?

I don't know what kind of surgery they do for things like that. And like Dooley's fracture in his hip, what kind of surgery is done? Unless they put in pins or something?

Prayers for him jhen. Prayers and prayers.

Thanks volly! Much appreciated.

He should be able to recover at home. He is supposed to stay off it as much as possible and have no full weight bearing on his right side. He should get to come home tomorrow after pt works with him and goes over the dos and don'ts

Its not funny, but its funny. He broke his pelvis by falling out of a chair after he fell asleep while watching Perry Mason at 1am this morning.
