No it isn't. Somebody claiming something as fact on a board titled "Rumor and Speculation" is, well, rumor and/or speculation.

Only somebody with a diminished mental capacity would accept anything on a message board of any sort as real news reporting.

In case you havent seen the Gruden threads on this board the last few days, many people are buying it hook line and sinker. Even to the point that they criticize real news outlets for reporting to the contrary.

Florida would never?

Florida didn't put up with a guy who was volumes more accomplished than Dooley is and Zook was fired in October instead of November.

My sister lives down the road from Chuck Strong and says that there were Tennessee license plates parked outside his house earlier this week.

That is neither rumor, nor speculation. It also means nothing.

The posters who have posted said information have explicitly posted that the info they are disseminating is info that they have heard. They have also stated that the deal is not completely done (I.e. they have been told a signature has not been placed). A few have said 100 percent but I do not recall affirmation of signatures. The farthest point in the process I have heard is papers are drawn up, details hammered out, and an agreement in principle. Even with this information the disclaimer of it is not completely done has been issued. If it were 100 percent, two different pressers would have been held. I also recall poster predicting naysayers in the media as well as the influx of posters saying this wouldn't happen. The next prediction I have heard is a Dooley fired presser next week. So far they have not been wrong. Why not skeptically sit back and see if things unfold as predicted? If not, then feel free to bash. All you are doing right now is bashing based on your opinion. If you bash based on fact there wouldn't be so many people giving you crap.

Dooley isn't coming back next year. My friend's brother works under Dooley and was hired by Dooley three years ago. He was told Tuesday that he was being let go at the end of the year.

And no he isn't a assistant coach.

I said this in another thread, but if Dooley is not fired we must take extreme measures to ensure he is. Even if it takes boycotting games. I know the players deserve the fans there, but they deserve a good coach more.

michigan fans think that denard is gonna win a heisman, and michigan state fans are trying to fire a coach that won 11 games each of the last 2 years, and would be undefeated this year if his kicker could kick and his catchers could catch. (not even an extrapolation of plays, just pure "make that catch, we win. Make that kick. we win")

crazy stuff all over, but I think that this place is my favorite insane asylum right now.
