I don't think it's about Gruden. I think he's talking about personal stuff. He said he's really tied up and the phone call from his most solid source is the last thing on his mind right now. JMO.

From everything I've been able to gather the numbers are in place and everything, but its still not signed or 100% official yet. Are you saying that stuff has now happened or that you're just that confident that it will?

I think everyone is saying that it's 99% (it's a verbal agreement) and that the signature is 100% (which can't happen when a coach is still under contract).

Staying up late (sort of) was worth it. Everyone that went to bed early are not true fans. IMO. Jmo. Tifwiw, byob, ihop, NATO,UN, etc...

The 2001 loss to LSU was in fact devastating, but we had a few good seasons after that, for sure.

Maybe 2002-2007 was twilight, and since then, pitch black.

Or so I would say...

But the win over Florida the week before losing in the SECCG was our greatest victory of the decade. Beating Michigan down and finishing #4 didn't suck either.

We haven't had a national title caliber team sine 2001.
