If Dooley is let go Sunday I know I'll feel a lot better about what is being said about Gruden. If he's still our coach next week or there's no mention of a "you're fired, but you can coach through the end of the year" then I'll be worried.

I love listening to Terry Fair in the afternoons. He's said for two days that he's 100% Gruden doesn't come to TN. He was pretty upset this evening. Said he was over it. Russell and Clay wouldn't let it die. Good stuff!

Persistent rumor with a good bit of internet speculation. I can't remember how it finally blew up. I think the actual announcement followed a huge swell of message board and talk radio speculation. There were lots of rumors at the time.

Vols1 I am behind you completely here. The only way it will work IMO is if you continue to edit the opening post in the thread with info along with times that relevant post are made and by whom. That's way we can check that first post for updates.

EVERYONE had Shannon here. It was done then DD got paranoid about hiring his possible replacement.

It's not just SBV. There are 5-6 other posters who have been credible in the past who have also said there's a good chance Gruden is coming to UT.

This could end up being another Randy Shannon deal, but I'd be very surprised if that's the case.

I think this is for real. Way, way too much smoke for it to be BS. I could be wrong though.

I'm the last person to start a rumor like this and tbh I haven't bought in to all of the Gruden rumors but multiple sources reporting Gruden seen at the BP off of I -75 in Ooltewah tonight. No I don't have pics, and I wasn't there and don't care if you believe it, just thought it was interesting.

He would never stop at BP.

Both Ainge and Basilio are reporting the exact opposite of what that idiot Rucker is saying. Ainge says Gruden is very possible and that a search has been going on for weeks. Basilio says that Dooley is already done and not only is Gruden very possible, but he's the top target.
