I just heard that he told CDD that it wasn't the right thing to do when he called Bray out and told him that he would leave them team if he did that to him....


Strictly a rumor..... nothing solid... that is why I asked if anyone else had heard it...

If this comment had come last year, players would have transferred. Seriously. A few of them were just going to put up with Dooley for one more year and head to the NFL. But with this Gruden info, some are considering staying for senior years.

I have been hearing this stuff about Dooley for the last couple of years. I bet most of you have to and like me chose to ignore it because he WAS our coach.

I was a huge CDD supporter but the last two games just woke me up. Now all this crap I'm hearing just sucks cause I would like to believe he's really a good dude but if he really tried to get outta his contract to go to UNC, that's just too much for me. Nothing or nobody comes before this program!!

I don't disagree with what you are saying. Bray and Hunter have definitely been disappointing this season. I do feel however, that there are more effective ways of trying to get players to understand there weaknesses. Using the media to try and reach them just shows that Dooley is in over his head, and is overall an ineffective communicator with his players. Either that, or he has totally lost control of this team. Not good no matter which way you look at it, once again IMO

Who's to say that hasn't happened several times? Dooley may not be winning but the guy is meticulous. He has plans. I don't think it was random.

Crickets, dude. Last I heard about Fulmer was that he was still bitter. I'm not going to bash Fulmer. He took us to the top. The end was sad.

It is unfortunate that Fulmer played his role in us being where we are too. I know a lot of people don't like hearing it but it is true.

I'm sorry, but unless you are in the pros, there is no reason to call out and bash your players publicly. It is one thing to constructively critize a player, or say bluntly "if Bray keeps giving up the ball Im gonna bench him" and leave it at that. No need to state how a player is weak, or lacking talent or what not. You can say that to the player in private, but not publicly. It will effect your players, effect the way parents and recruits look at you, and it can just deflate all support behind you.
