Exactly. He took Louisville to a BCS Bowl (and won) and took Arkansas to a BCS Bowl. He's 75-26 in 8 years as a head coach. He's proven he can win in the SEC (Arkansas is one of the toughest places to recruit). Also, his record against USCe (3-1), LSU (2-2), UGA (1-1), MSU (3-1), and TXAM (3-0) is impressive.
You left out 0-4 vs Alabama and 0-2 vs UF and 0 DIVISION titles(never finished higher than 3rd), let alone conference ones. If the goal is to win SEC titles at any cost, which it would have to be to lie down with a rat like Petrino, then that move isnt going to do it. He'd be way down on my list.
