MY GOD!!!!!!!!!
So because blacks suffered during slavery over 140 years ago and were lynched by the Democrats in the KKK..
He has a point saying OJ was on the right side of justice?
My God!!!! And people wonder why we have a problem
Maybe thats why Blacks feel they have a right to riot TODAY over anything race fueled...because of KingNick865 and you! Giving them a pass...""Oh well they were slaves once you know""
Hey strawman argument, it's nice to see you.
Dems started the KKK!!!!!
The first grand wizard of the KKK was honored at the 1868 Democratic National Convention
Ever heard of something called the "Solid South"? No? Well, the Democrats at that time were very conservative, more so that the Republicans of today. Prior to the 1960's, the south was a virtual guarantee for the Democrats, thanks to their pro-Jim Crow and pro-"states rights" legislation. The people who were abolitionists were Republicans who were more closely aligned with what we think of as liberal ideology.
In the 1940's and the 1950's, there became two sects of the Democratic Party. One of them was the more northern part, who evolved more or less into the modern Democrats of today. The other was a more Southern "Dixiecrat" wing that were fervently opposed to Civil Rights legislation, and wanted to maintain the status quo. These "Dixiecrats" started to move to the Republican party because of two main factors; the signing of the Civil Rights Bill of 1964, and Barry Goldwater's run for president later on that year that managed to break the Democratic monopoly on the South for good (with the exception of modern Southern Democrats such as Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton), and converted most of these Southern Democrats to Republicans.
