I know the rumor about Gruden is out there every year & I'm one of those that thinks it's just a wishful thing, but I was asked a hypothetical question today by someone & I figured I would ask you guys.

IF IF Dave Hart did indeed fire Dooley then hired Gruden, would you as fans be willing to see a increase in ticket prices, parking prices, & food prices for games to pay the salaries of the coaches?

Let's say a ticket cost $80 now, are you as fans willing to pay $90-$100 a ticket, how about parking? Are you willing to pay $30-$40 to park?

B/c that is likely what it would take to get that deal done.

How many points can we put up against Bama? Can we run the ball well?

I think our Oline can hold its own against them.

I think we can put up around 20 or so points.

Just don't see us being able to stop them near enough to give us a shot to win.

We have to force McCarron to win the game for them. Our defense won't hold if we get grinded down by their run game.

A glaring issue is that we can't get pressure without blitzing, and Bama has one of the best OLs in the country. Even when we blitz, we don't have the secondary that can cover the big plays.

i think florida's D is just as good as Bamas - so id say 20 is about right

i think if they open it up and let mccarron throw all over the field it could get really ugly - this would lead to more possessions for both teams and typically the better team seperates with more possessions and flukes mean less

however, if they try and pound it against us and our guys can get a timely turnover there will be a low number of possessions in the game, it will be tight - bama will be on the road - and there guys may get tight while ours have nothing to lose - this is the recipe for us to win i think

they focus on run - our O gets 21 or 24 points and they get a turnover and get 20 or 23 points - their running game limits possessions overall such that 1 turnover or special team breakdown could decide the game

No...donations from influential and wealthy donors/boosters is what it would take to get it done.

...but to answer your questions:

Yes.

If UT is making it to the SEC Championship game about every other year it would be worth it.

Too many holes in our D, I fully expect a 25-30 point win from them. (not to mention, one low shot on Tyler and Worley will be in). I will gladly love for this to be very wrong, but just being honest.

Easily, my tickets would only be probably $15 dollars:)

"People are going to say what they're going to say, fans are going to say what they want to say. I don't pay any attention to it. All that matters is what's in this circle right here. We have each others' backs; we have coach Dooley's back. We love coach Dooley. There's no other coach I'd rather play for right now."

Good read on VQ by John Brice. Apparently Lathers and AJ Johnson called a players meeting yesterday.

Very good read, and actually, well-written. I love the maturity and passion our players are showing. And, I am proud that CDD is our coach. You can't really put a value on the positives he's done for this University.

This is the kind of dumbassery that makes our fanbase look like garbage.

No telling how many recruits have seen this.

Also add in that the video I posted last night has started to make it's way around the internet on multiple sites.

Love hearing stuff like that.

People act like Dooley has gotten absolutely train wrecked by our 3 losses this year and say "theres been no improvement in 3 years"..yes it's frustrating, but honestly if you subtract a few mistakes from each game, we were in position to win all 3. Players just didn't execute.

I wouldn't like it. I think they're too much now. I looked over some statistics and the football program is not losing money. They need to make cuts elsewhere.

Yep.

The FF seems to think that coaches play each other and everything the players (or pawns in a game) do are a reflection of the coaches. Players play the game. Coaches help guide the players to victory.

In all three losses, our players were in position to win. They were in position to makes plays. As a fan/alumnus, I dunno what else you want from a coaching staff. At the end of the day, players have to make plays. If they don't, you lose. It's that simple.

I can't watch it again, I feel embarrassed for the dude by just watching it. Lol.

I expect to see some run blitzes and putting an extra man in the box at times.
